Absence from home for a short holiday explains delay in answering your letter Sept 6 which enclosed notes on the monasteries of St Anthony & St Paul. Those did not interest me as much as the notes from Covels diary, and other references on St Sophia. If you have them I hope you will send them and if you are coming to London I hope you will find time to spend an evening here. Also I hope to pay a visit or two to the B[ritish] M[useum] with you.
